Listen to the whispers telling you something
Trusting your gut and learning to harness your intuition is a powerful gift. Our intuition can come in at a whisper and eventually can grow to a loud abrasive knock if we do not listen. This is helpful with your personal relationships and your health.
The energy you bring into your life affects your Chakras that are part of a system, they are all integrated and affect one another. When one part of our body or experience is blocked, this shows up in an unbalanced chakra and unwanted life experience.
As we mature, our chakras are able to come to their fully balanced mature state—and our third eye can open. The third eye is the energy that connects us to the power of our intuition, our ability to trust our observations and perceptions. This can happen with more awareness and strength when we learn the lessons that the universe presents to us.
Trusting your instincts
The power of believing is everything, knowing that your gut instinct you have is there for a reason. It is often easier to ignore our instincts and get into a fight or flight mode. When you suppress that inner feeling you have, it can manifest stress which can trigger much larger issues in your body that will affect your health. My superpower is trusting my intuition, there have been many circumstances in my life that I have listened to that voice inside.
Meeting the right people at the right time
In 2018 I started to feel exhausted all of the time and my skin was flaring up no matter what I was doing to prevent it. I met with a women’s nutritionist and life coach, named Nicole Negron. She was helping me explore remedies to help improve my skin and identify other areas I needed to work on in my personal life. Nicole introduced me to an acupuncturist named Jacylyn from Rain City Acupuncture, who is amazing at knowing what you need to heal your body. Between them both I knew I was in good hands. We were determined to find some answers to this mystery of what was happening to me on a daily basis.
In order to rule out any serious health concerns, Nicole and Jacylyn suggested I get a full blood panel done by my doctor. I was expecting my hormone levels to be off and I could easily adjust this with a form of medication. My results came back I had high Cholesterol in both levels of the blood. There is low-density lipoprotein (LDL) which is considered cholesterol’s “bad” form. The other type is high-density lipoprotein (HDL) which is considered the “good” kind of cholesterol.
Getting ahead of an alternative outcome
I thought I maintained a healthy diet, active lifestyle, how did I have high Cholesterol? The cardiologist ran stress tests on my heart to make sure my arteries were clear and discuss options. My doctor suggested I take a genetic test, the results revealed I have familial hypercholesterolemia (Known as FH). The treatment option is taking a medication called Atorvastatin for the rest of my life. This medication lowers the risks of heart disease, heart attack, and a stroke.
I didn’t expect this news or the fact I had saved my own life.
